The Center for Psychotherapy was founded by Barbara Metz, Ph.D., and Peter Wohlwend, M.Div., in 1974. In 1994, The Center merged with Larkspur Center and changed its name to The Center for Psychotherapy and Lifeskills Development. The Center’s highly qualified counseling staff are a diverse group of therapists, each licensed by the state. Providing comprehensive services,The Center’s therapists work with people of every age and every stage of life, offering individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Barbara Metz, Ph.D. and Peter Wohlwend, M. Div. have both retired as of July 1, 2014.
